Coopen is a collaborative programme whose goal is to promote innovative solutions that respond to sustainable development challenges in Africa, with respect to three main objectives of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development: Sustainable Nutrition and Agriculture (SDG 2), Health and Well-being (SDG 3), and Circular Economy (SDG 12).
Candidates from both the Italian and the African innovation ecosystem can respond to the public call outlined here. They must have at least one operating site in one of the following countries: Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda, Rwanda, Senegal, Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger.
Grants are EUR 90,000 for each final project launched.
