Nova Garage is a pan-African innovation platform designed to showcase the continent’s most promising young tech entrepreneurs. The initiative brings together innovators, investors, corporate leaders, and policymakers to highlight startups developing solutions across sectors such as energy, agriculture, mobility, and finance. Selected entrepreneurs will present their ventures during the Africa-France Summit “Africa Forward,” gaining international exposure and networking opportunities with potential investors and decision-makers. Up to 15 entrepreneurs under the age of 35 will be selected through a competitive pan-African application process.

AVMI Industrial Fellowship Programme in Vaccine Manufacturing
The Industrial Fellowship Programme is a fully funded training initiative designed to build Africa’s vaccine manufacturing workforce. The programme provides hands-on industrial experience in vaccine production and research for recent African graduates. Participants will train in active vaccine manufacturing facilities and gain competencies aligned with Africa CDC’s Vaccine R&D and Manufacturing Competency Frameworks, particularly in current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Only 14 fellows will be selected for the cohort. The fellowship addresses the shortage of skilled professionals in Africa’s vaccine manufacturing sector, where the workforce currently numbers around 2,000–3,000 professionals but is expected to grow to about 12,500 by 2040.

CIVICUS Digital Action Lab – Cohort 3 (2026)
The CIVICUS Digital Action Lab is a global programme designed to support civil society organisations in the Global South to develop and scale digital solutions that strengthen civic space, democratic participation, and citizen engagement. The initiative combines funding, mentorship, and technical training to help organisations integrate digital tools into advocacy and social impact projects. Participants work with experts and peer organisations to design and implement digital projects addressing issues such as civic participation, rights protection, and public accountability. The programme encourages organisations to build on existing initiatives and test innovative approaches that can improve democratic engagement both online and offline.

The primary aim of the Summer School is to foster and strengthen interdisciplinary approaches to research concerning Africa and other global regions from an African perspective. It emphasises African Studies as a facet of Area Studies and endeavours to identify themes that are theoretically, conceptually, and methodologically pertinent to the intellectual examination of Africa as a subject of knowledge. COFP Peace Fellowship Program
The fellowship brings together young professionals, civil society actors, faith leaders and community changemakers committed to dialogue, social justice and conflict resolution. Fellows participate in structured training sessions focused on conflict transformation, mediation and interreligious dialogue while engaging in collaborative learning with peers from across Africa. The fellowship runs for one year and includes three intensive in-person training modules held in Abuja. During the program, fellows design and implement a community-based peacebuilding project supported by a seed grant, enabling them to translate their learning into real impact within their communities.
