Just Released! The 2019 Global NGO Technology Survey

We are pleased to announce the release of the 4th edition of the Global NGO Technology Survey by our partner Nonprofit Tech for Good to gather data on the use of technology by NGO (Non-Governmental Organizations).

Sponsored by Funraisea nonprofit fundraising platform that enables organizations to build a fundraising website as well as manage donations and campaigns – the goal of the 2019 Global NGO Technology Survey is to gain a better understanding on how charitable organizations, NGOs and Non-profit organizations worldwide use technology to engage their supporters and donors. Last year’s survey provided useful data and  information, and for the first time included responses from almost 900 African organizations participating.

We are excited to partner with Nonprofit Tech for Good for the second time to ensure that more African organizations participate in the survey. The data we collect not only helps us understand how nonprofits and NGOs are utilizing technology to inspire philanthropy and achieve their mission and programs, but also helps organizations compare trends and best practices.

This year’s questions delve into web and email communications, online fundraising, social media, data management, and productivity software. The survey is 100% anonymous and available in English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish and will be live through May 31st. Results from the survey will be released on September 16, 2019 in the fourth edition of the Global NGO Technology Report.

Philanthropy Circuit, along with 23 other partners will be promoting the survey through various platforms to crowdsource data from respondents worldwide. With your help, we hope we can reach this year’s goal of 10,000 survey respondents.
