The Global Environment Facility Small Grants Programme (GEF SGP) implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is inviting applications from qualified non-profit organisations with innovative solutions to environmental problems faced by communities in Nigeria within the following GEF focal areas:
Biodiversity, Land Degradation, Climate Change, Chemicals and Waste, and International Waters.
Eligibility Criteria
Applying organisation must:
• Be a locally registered non-governmental, non-profit, community-based, or civil society organisation registered in Nigeria and owned by Nigerians.
• Have at least 3 years relevant experience and proven records of working with communities in environmental and agricultural related activities.
• Demonstrate strong community involvement in the planned or proposed project.
