Chioma Bishop

Director of Intelligent Automation, Randstad

Chioma Bishop is an experienced technology executive and non-profit leader with over 20 years of experience in corporate technology, sustainability, and non-profit management. She currently serves as the Director of Intelligent Automation at Randstad, a global HR company, where she leads initiatives to implement and scale automation solutions. Chioma brings a crucial focus on leveraging technology to drive organizational efficiency and scale impact to Philanthropy Circuit.


Her strategic leadership also includes her past role as the inaugural President of Randstad’s African Heritage Business Resource Group (BRG) and non-profit leadership experience includes serving as the former President of African Sisters for Information, Knowledge & Empowerment (ASIKE), where she achieved significant program growth. Her decision to join PC is rooted in her belief in the power of local, data-driven giving and her commitment to shifting the narrative on African philanthropy. She holds a BA in Computer Science, Mathematics, and French from Principia College.

Desiree Younge

Founder, Conscious Catalyst Group

Désirée Younge is a seasoned executive with 20+ years of experience driving operational growth and philanthropic innovation across nonprofits, mission-driven businesses, and philanthropic institutions. As Founder of Conscious Catalyst Group, she leads strategic initiatives and builds infrastructure to help organizations scale impact. Désirée partners with high-impact organizations across Africa, Latin America, the United States, and theCaribbean – designing programs, navigating transitions, and strengthening cross-sector collaboration.


She has raised multimillion-dollar portfolios and built partnerships with Fortune 500 companies, startups, and governments. Her work has been featured in Forbes and evaluated by Dalberg for its scalable impact on women entrepreneurs. Désirée holds a TRIUM Global Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA), awarded by London School of Economics & Political Science, NYU Stern School of Business, and HEC Paris School of Management. She also holds a Master of Arts (MA), International Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts, Business Administration.

Katja Schiller Nwator

Founder, Philanthropy Circuit

Katja Schiller Nwator is a philanthropy and development executive with 18+ years of experience leading strategy, partnerships, and policy across Africa and the United States. As Founder and Editor-in-Chief, Katja leads the platform’s editorial vision and strategic direction and enables collaborations that amplify local giving and elevate the work of changemakers shaping the continent’s development. Her expertise lies in building strong stakeholder ecosystems and advancing inclusive models of philanthropy that bridge governments, funders, and communities.

She has held senior roles with the Gates Foundation, Tony Elumelu Foundation, and Motive Development Group advancing advocacy and policy initiatives in gender equality, public health, youth entrepreneurship, and human capital development. Katja also serves on several boards and is a co-founder of Women in Public Health Leadership for Africa, a network empowering women to lead and drive systems-level change across the continent. Katja holds a Master’s in Public Administration from Northeastern University and a BA in Political Science from Principia College.

Lawrence Omerenna

Chief AI & Automation Advisor

Lawrence is an AI strategist and automation architect with over a decade of experience in DevOps and cloud infrastructure. As Chief AI & Automation Advisor at Philanthropy Circuit, he leads the adoption of AI tools and workflow automation to enhance storytelling, productivity, and data-driven operations.

Through his innovation firm, Ibozen Labs, Lawrence helps organizations harness emerging technologies to simplify complex processes and scale impact. His mission is to make AI accessible and practical for teams across Africa and beyond, bridging innovation, efficiency, and social good.

Abdullahi Malumfashi

Associate Editor

Abdullahi is a multidisciplinary communications professional with experience in editing, content strategy, translation, and digital storytelling. As an Associate Editor at Philanthropy Circuit, he contributes to research, editorial development, and thought pieces that explore trends in African philanthropy, development, and social innovation. Before joining Philanthropy Circuit, Abdullahi served as Managing Editor at Northpad Nigeria, leading an editorial team and developing SEO-driven content strategies that expanded audience engagement.

He also worked as an SEO Content Writer at Ozmites Tech, supporting the launch of MamiMarkets.com, and as a Communications Officer at the Centre for Girls Education (CGE), where he developed digital campaigns advocating for girls’ education and gender equality. Abdullahi holds a B.Sc. in Microbiology from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and a Certificate in Translation from Bayero University, Kano. He is passionate about using language, data, and storytelling to amplify narratives around African-led giving and social impact.

Augustine Otokpa Ocheje

Finance Officer

Augustine is a results-driven finance professional with over seven years of experience in financial management, administration, and data analysis within the NGO and humanitarian sectors. He has served with reputable organizations including the International Rescue Committee (IRC), Yiaga Africa, Emmanuel Teryila Foundation, and APIN Public Health Initiative. Augustine is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Benue State University, with a Master’s in Information Management in view from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

His expertise covers donor fund management, budgeting, financial reporting, audit coordination, and digital finance systems such as QuickBooks and Power BI. Passionate about accountability and efficiency, Augustine supports the development of transparent financial systems that strengthen program delivery and sustainability in humanitarian and development projects.

Catherine Oluchi Okika

Digital Communications Officer

Catherine is a strategic branding specialist and social media manager with demonstrated experience in building cohesive brand identities, executing data-driven digital strategies, and driving measurable growth for mission-driven organizations and businesses. She has supported brands across sectors, including healthcare, technology, and hospitality companies, helping them strengthen visibility, refine messaging, and build loyal online communities. With a B.Sc. in Anatomy from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Catherine has further strengthened her professional foundation through certifications such as the #1000WomenInData Scholarship (DataCamp), Project Management Professional (PMP), and the ALX Virtual Assistant Programme completed with honors.

Her skill set cuts across brand strategy, digital content development, social media analytics, community management, performance reporting, and design tools such as Canva and Adobe Suite. Driven by a passion for amplifying the work of mission-oriented organizations, Catherine is committed to using branding, storytelling, and digital marketing to elevate organizational impact,particularly within the African philanthropy and development space. She thrives at the intersection of creativity and strategy, transforming brand values and missions into compelling narratives that inform, inspire, and convert.
